ABOUT THE TRUST
The Trust's assets and income are derived from a generous endowment made by Sir Jules Thorn in 1964. The income has enabled the Trust to give substantial support to a wide range of charitable causes in the United Kingdom.
GRANT PROGRAMMES
The Trustees aim to fulfil Sir Jules Thorn's vision to make life easier for the sick and disadvantaged through a range of grant programmes designed to help UK registered charities achieve objectives which are consistent with the Trust's priorities.

AREAS OF INTEREST
The organisations which receive grants from the Trust work in many areas of need but it is possible to segment these into five broad categories.
PREVIOUS AWARDS
Since its initiation in 1964 the Sir Jules Thorn Charitable Trust has provided funding to numerous organisations addressing the specific issues in which the Trust is interested.
